AOL: The Time Warner unit is continuing its European integration with a radical reshuffle emphasizing the ad operation over AOL UK’s publishing side. AOL UK MD Michael Steckler is now head of the company’s Platform-A UK operations - his previous position, AOL UK MD, is being eliminated. Also, Kevin Cornils, who came over as CEO with AOL’s acquisition of the Buy.at affiliate network in February, is leaving the company next month. Cornils was tapped as managing director of AOL’s Advertising.com UK in April but is to leave the company in August. More details on our sister site, paidContent:UK.

Facebook: Facebook confirmed today that Marc Andreessen has joined its board of directors. (The prospect first was reported by Boomtown last month.) A Silicon Valley veteran, Andreeessen co-founded Ning and currently serves as its chairman. Earlier in his career, he authored web browser Mosaic, co-founded Netscape Communications and served as CTO for AOL (NYSE: TWX). He co-founded and served as chairman for Loudcloud, which was later renamed Opsware and acquired by HP. Release.

Smalltown: Ad solutions provider Smalltown has expanded its management team by appointing Nick Ordon as president and CEO and Robert Goldberg to the board of directors. Most recently, Ordon served as CEO for Infotone and Grayboxx and earlier, CEO for Versant Corp. Tech exec and venture capitalist Goldberg has served as an operating exec with NBCi and Looksmart and was a board member and investor in Insider Pages, Snap and ClickShift.

NaturalPath Media: Jim Van Huysee and Richard Rocca are joining the green and healthy living network as EVP-operations and marketing and SVP-sales and business development respectively. Van Huysee will lead ad ops and marketing initiatives, while Rocca will oversee the sales org and strategic partnerships; both will report directly to CEO David Phillips. Van Huysee most recently served as a strategic consultant for various media companies and earlier as GM of the AOL Radio Network. Rocca was previously an exec at Glam Media.
