Correction: Catherine Levene did not join DailyCandy directly from NYTimes.com; she left the company in 2005 and has been working with Glam.com and others.

An interesting micro-migration from NYT: DailyCandy, the style/fashion e-mail newsletter empire, has hired away two executives from the New York Times Co. Catherine Levene left her position as digital VP at NYTimes.com to become DailyCandy’s COO. Alyson Racer, who had been a VP of advertising for the Times’ site, will take the same title at DailyCandy, CrainsNY says.
