imageThat didn’t last long. Veteran online ad exec Joanne Bradford is on the move again, leaving Spot Runner for Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) to be SVP-U.S. revenue and market development reporting to Hilary Schneider, EVP, Yahoo U.S. In that role, new for Yahoo, Bradford will oversee sales, market development for advertisers, small business, and Yahoo! HotJobs. Bradford leaves Spot Runner, where she had been EVP-national advertising services since leaving Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) in March. Bradford held a variety of ad roles at Microsoft, including corporate VP and chief media officer of MSN Media Network; corporate VP of global sales and marketing; and chief media revenue officer for Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions. Rafat adds: This comes after a slew of layoffs at SpotRunner which came out last month…and there have been rumors otherwise about SP’s expansion into other areas too soon and losing its TV ad focus. Bradford was brought in to head the media efforts, and her leaving so soon will raise some more questions about the viability of the company…

More after the jump...

Sales SVP Karnstedt leaves: At the same time, Yahoo announced the departure of David Karnstedt, SVP-U.S. Sales, saying the 7-year vet had resigned earlier this summer but was working with Schneider to ensure a “seamless transition.” He’ll leave Sept. 16 to be an EIR at Redpoint Ventures, a source told paidContent.

Update: Kara does an interview with Bradford and Schneider: Schneider added that the job Bradford has is larger than Karnstedt’s..“It is a different role in that it aggregates all of ad revenue…and touches teams in all of our ad businesses,” said Schneider, who noted Bradford’s job does not include its overseeing its publishing relationships.
