imageIminlikewithyou: Virgin exec Dan Porter has joined the social gaming company as CEO. Formerly SVP, corporate development at Virgin; he was responsible for M&A in North America. Prior to Virgin, Porter served as SVP, business development and digital strategy at BMG Music Service; he’s also held senior leadership roles with Teach for America and TicketWeb (now a division of Ticketmaster).

Acxiom: Michael Darviche has joined as SVP and CMO; he will oversee M&A for the interactive marketing services company, in addition to leading its sales and marketing teams. Darviche most recently served as CEO and founder of lead gen and sales software firm Flash Capital Systems; prior to that he was SVP and CMO of Citi 360, a division of Citigroup. Release.

Nielsen: The media research company promoted Manish Bhatia to president of advanced digital services; Bhatia will oversee Nielsen’s push into set-top device measurement. Formerly president of global services and U.S. sales for Nielsen Online, Bhatia has a long history with the company: he started out as a TV ratings exec, before leaving to help launch NetRatings, the web traffic measurement firm Nielsen acquired in 1998 (via Mediapost). 

Warner Bros.: Jim Wuthrich has been promoted to president, international home video and digital distribution at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group; he will oversee a team of international licensing, digital and packaged distribution execs. Formerly SVP, digital distribution, Wuthrich has been with Warner Bros. for more than 10 years; he has brokered digital distribution deals with Apple, Amazon, Sony, Microsoft and others.
