Jeff Price has resigned as president of Sports Illustrated Digital effective immediately. Vivek Shah has been overseeing SI Digital as group digital president of Time Inc. (NYSE: TWX) News Group since the latest reorg in December and will continue to do so without someone at Price’s level for now, once again flattening the org chart. Price joined SI in 2002 and was promoted to president of SI Digital in 2005.

Price led several online deals for SI Digital and Time Inc., including the acquisitions of FanNation and Golf.com. He was #6 on Sports Business Journal‘s 2008 list of the 20 most influential people in digital sports.
Shah’s other direct reports include general managers Jonathan Shar (CNNMoney.com), John Cantarella (Time.com) and Andy Blau (Life.com).
