Zynga: David Wehner, an investment banker from Allen & Co., has joined as Zynga’s CFO. He replaces Mark Vranesh, who has become chief accounting officer and will report to Wehner.  Prior to joining Allen & Co. in 2001 as managing director, Wehner was VP of corporate development at tech-focused investment banking firm Hambrecht & Quist, which is now part of JP Morgan.

MLB Advanced Media: Jeffrey Volk has joined the company as VP of business development. He previously spent three years at Athletes’ Performance, where he was president of digital media.

WEA Corp.: Ethan Kaplan has recently joined Warner Music Group’s U.S. sales and retail marketing company as SVP of emerging technology, he blogged this week. Kaplan was previously VP of technology for Warner Bros. (NYSE: TWX) Records, in a capacity akin to “a startup-type CTO in a music company,” his LinkedIn profile states. He also runs Murmurs.com, an R.E.M. fan site he began when he was 16 years old.

Booze & Co.: Joseph Sims is now a partner at Booze & Co., with an expertise in communications, media and technology services. He formerly was VP and GM for T-Mobile USA and earlier, managing director for wireless solutions at KPMG Consulting.
