Industry Moves: Rogers Replaces Goldberg And Roback At Yahoo Music
Ian Rogers has been named GM of Yahoo Music, replacing longtime fixtures David Goldberg, the former VP, and Robert Roback, the former GM, who resigned last week for “personal reasons,” Billboard Biz reported. Rogers reports to Vince Broady, head of entertainment for Yahoo. Rogers came to Yahoo in 2003. Since then, he has worked as a product manager for the music group and has overseen the Yahoo Music Unlimited digital service. Rogers’ most recent post was VP of product development for Yahoo Music.
