»  Michael Kolowich (pictured), the President and Founder of ZDNet, has started Channel One Marketing, a video marketing firm. The Concord, MA-based company will work with area company DigiNovations to bring media streaming for companies across venues like Twitter and Facebook. [Xconomy]

»  Mintz Levin has snapped up Michele Floyd, former in-house Counsel for Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO), to join their Palo Alto office as a Member of the firm. During her eight months at Yahoo, she defended and managed commercial litigation and trade practice cases. [Marketwatch]

»  Facebook has gone out and gotten itself another Google-ite with the hiring of Prashant Fuloria as the company’s Director of Product Management. Fuloria, who was the Director of Product Management behind Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Checkout (among other things), will be in charge of Facebook payments, which has just enabled payments to over 14 currencies.
