Industry Moves Roundup: MySpace VP; Yahoo SVP; Vivendi Entertainment

Two VP leaving at two Internet companies in trouble:
—Chris George, who was VP of Integrated Marketing at MySpace, has left and joined pop culture sites operator Buzzmedia, as SVP of Integrated Marketing & Operations. He will manage all aspects of revenue and sales solutions for the company, it said.
—Bassel Ojjeh, who was SVP and head of Yahoo’s strategic data solutions group, has left the company, according to TC. Ojjeh was one of the co-founders of data mining and warehousing solutions provider DMX Group, a company that was acquired by Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) in August 2004.
—Vivendi (EPA: VIV) Entertainment has promoted Yolanda Macias to EVP of business development and acquisitions, from SVP. She will continue to be responsible for sourcing and acquiring content from producers and indie studios for theatrical and home entertainment distribution. Additionally, she continues to oversee the company’s finance and digital divisions.
