Zee has restructured its operations in the South and created a new role of chief operating officer, Southern channels, reports Indiantelevision.com. Zee Telugu CEO Sanjay Reddy will now be responsible for four of Zee’s channels in the South—Zee Telugu, Zee Tamil, Zee Kannada and Zee 24 Gantalu.
Multiscreen Media, broadcaster of Sony (NYSE: SNE) Entertainment Television, has hired Ajit Thakur as business head of its flagship channel reports e4m. Thakur was CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, the film making division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd.
Medianama reports that Salil Kumar has put in his papers as the COO (business) at NDTV convergence. When we got in touch with Kumar, he declined comment.
