Zynga also brought in two EA execs: Mike Verdu as the new VP of game development, and Colleen McCreary as the chief people officer. Verdu most recently served as VP and GM of EA Los Angeles (he oversaw franchises like Medal of Honor); McCreary had been EA’s global corporate human resources director. Meanwhile, Idealab and NBCi vet Robert Goldberg joins as Zynga’s SVP of business operations.

Turn: Tacoda vet Hugh McGoran has joined the ad network as VP of sales; he’ll manage the company’s national sales team. McGoran joins from semantic targeting firm Peer39, where he served as SVP of ad sales; prior to Peer39, he spent three years with behavioral targeting firm Tacoda, helping to oversee its integration within AOL post-acquisition.
