Industry Moves: AOL Brings Back Minson As CFO To Manage Spinoff
Former AOL corporate finance head Arthur Minson is moving back to the Time Warner (NYSE: TWX) unit as executive vice president and CFO, filling a gap left earlier this summer when Nisha Kumar departed during CEO Tim Armstrog’s executive re-org. MInson left AOL in 2006 to help Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) with its spinoff from Time Warner as EVP and deputy CFO, giving him the kind of experience AOL will need in the months leading to its own spin, now in the works. His last role at AOL was SVP, corporate finance and development. In his new job, Minson, based in New York, will be responsible for the usual financial functions. He starts work Sept. 8. Release.
