Wal-Mart’s Digital Media Head Leaves; Joining Apple As Head of Movies/TV, International
Kevin Swint, the digital media head of Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) has left the company, and is joining Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) from next week, heading movies & TV, international. The move doesn’t come as a surprise since the giant retailer dialed back on its digital music and movie initiatives and closed its movie service last month. And of course, Apple recently announced its new movie rental service on iTunes.
