Industry Moves: Yahoo’s Iorio Out As Head Of Lifestyles

If you wondered where Amy Iorio is in the latest Yahoo Media mix, well, not at Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO). We’ve confirmed that Iorio quietly left as GM of Yahoo Lifestyles at the end of June, in what’s described to me as a mutual agreement with Yahoo Media head Scott Moore but could also be viewed as being organized out. At one point a direct report to Moore, Iorio had been reporting to Karin Gilford, the head of entertainment who is leaving now for Comcast (NSDQ: CMCSA). Brandon Holley heads Yahoo! Shine, formerly known as Lifestyles, and reports to Jimmy Pitaro, who inherits Gilford’s entertainment portfolio.

For those keeping track, Moore has reduced his direct operational reports considerably since last December to Pitaro; Alan Warms (News); Mark Interrante (Finance, Autos, Real Estate); and Neeraj Khemlani (programming).
