Internet TV Network ManiaTV Gets $9.5 Million Third Round
Updated below: Denver-based ManiaTV, a youth-based online TV network, has raised a $9.5 million third round from DAG Ventures, reports PE Hub. Previous backers Benchmark Capital, Centennial Ventures and Intel (NSDQ: INTC) Capital also joined. The company had previously raised $17 million, bringing its total raise to $26 million since its inception in 2004. Among its offerings are shows hosted by rocker Dave Navarro and Tom Green. The company also recently made the move out of Denver to Los Angeles, and also moved out of user-gen video into focusing primarily on professionally produced content.
