Israeli Animation Site Aniboom Raises $10 Million Second Round
Aniboom, an Israeli animation network, has raised a $10 million second round led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson and DFJ Tamir Fishman Ventures, along with past backer Evergreen Venture Partners. The company previously raised $4.5 million last year, for a total of $14.5 million. Not only is the company an online animation aggregator, drawing on the work of over 4,000 independent creators (its claim), but it’s also interested in original works. This funding will go, in part, to the creation of original premium, short-form content for both the web and mobile. Release.
