JanRain has completed a $3.25 million funding round; we had reported this summer that the startup had raised $1 million of the round. JanRain’s product is deployed by companies, including Sears, Tribune Interactive, FOX News, and EMI Music, so that visitors can sign in to those sites using the accounts they already have at other websites, such as Facebook, Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO), or MySpace. Users can also share their activities on multiple social networks. The round was led by DFJ Frontier. RPM Venture and Anthem Venture Partners also participated. New funds will be used to “expand the company’s product offerings” and also to “grow the company’s sales and marketing efforts.” More details in this blog post.
