Jupitermedia Buys Ad Industry Community Content Sites

Jupitermedia has acquired ad-related user generated content sites AdsOfTheWorld.com and CreativeBits.org for its Graphics.com network. The two sites claim to attract over 1 million unique monthly visitors combined. Financial terms were not disclosed.

AdsOfTheWorld operates an advertising archive and free community site. Creativebits has positioned itself as a professional blog and community site for graphic designers working on Mac OS X. Both sites say their main purpose is to allow creatives to share tips. As for how they will fit into Jupitermedia and its Graphics.com network, the two purchases are meant to expand Graphics.com’s advertising offerings. and, secondly, to provide Jupitermedia with additional cross-promotional vehicles.
