Kaltura, a company that provides infrastructure and collaboration tools, has raised an unspecified second round led by .406 Ventures, the company tells CNET. It did say the round was “significantly larger” than the $2.1 million round led by Avalon Ventures. The NYC-based company offers open source software designed to let multiple users edit and remix online videos. In addition to offering a free consumer service, it offers a more advanced, paid version for businesses that includes stuff like hosting and more marketing-focused services.
