Knowledge Adventures Raises $5 Million Second Round For Kids Virtual World

Knowledge Adventure, a developer of educational virtual worlds for kids, has raised a $5 million second round from Azure Capital and Telesoft Partners. The company’s initial round was not specified. Previously, the Torrance, CA-based company has focused on the traditional educational software market, with titles like Math Blaster. Kids-based virtual worlds is a hot market, and the new funding will help the company expand its team and build out its offerings in this area. Release.
