Last Days Of CNET: CBS Successfully Completes First Tender Offer
No surprise: CNET (NSDQ: CNET) shareholders are tendering their shares over to CBS (NYSE: CBS). Approximately 78 percent of CNET shares have been tendered, CBS said in a statement this morning. The announcement comes a couple days after CNET gadfly Jana Partners confirmed that it had no intention of holding things up. The next tranche of shares should mainly be mopped up by Wednesday, June 25. Release.
