Launching Deal Radar: Companies Ripe For Picking; First Company: Gaia Interactive

imageWe are launching a new regular column called Deal Radar, written by entrepreneur and strategy consultant Sramana Mitra, which will profile companies in the online media and marketing space ripe for a deal, either through M&A, or as a later round investment.

Sramana is a technology entrepreneur and strategy consultant in Silicon Valley. She has founded three companies and writes a business blog, Sramana Mitra on Strategy. She has a master’s degree from MIT, is a columnist for Forbes, and author of Entrepreneur Journeys

The latest company is Gaia Interactive, the online virtual gaming site. Others profiled recently include Playfish, Veodia, GirlSense and others Go read all of them here.
