Lead Gen Firm AdEx Closes $2.3 Million Private Placement

imageOTC-traded lead-gen company AdEx Media has completed a $2.3 million financing. The Mountain View, Calif.-based company, which offers pay-for-performance and lead-gen services, closed a private placement in which AdEx raised the financing through the issuance of 1.9 million shares of series A preferred stock and warrants to unspecified institutional investors. The company plans to use the proceeds from the financing to expand its product line and to ramp up its marketing efforts.
