Updated: Women-focused content firm LimeLife—which runs an online site aimed at the 18-34 year-old set, along with a corresponding mobile property—has raised another $1 million in funding, according to an SEC filing. Unclear who provided the new cash, although the filing lists partners at previous backers Monitor Ventures, U.S. Venture Partners, Core Capital Partners, and Rustic Canyon Partners as directors. LimeLife had previously raised at least $16 million in venture funding, including $1 million in July. The company picked up the technology of mobile gaming and community site Tapatap in March. We reached out to LimeLife for comment and will update this post when we hear back. The company confirms the funding, saying the money comes from existing investors.
