Local Search Startup Praized Media Raises C$1 Million

Montreal-based Praized Media has received C$1 million (US $1 Million) from Garage Technology Ventures Canada. The company, which is operating in stealth mode, says it’s developing an application that combines blogs, social networks and local search in a novel way. It plans to work in two directions, allowing users to discover local merchants, while offering local businesses a way to generate leads. Release.
