Media planning consultancy TargetCast has acquired full service digital shop Triumph360. This is eight-year-old TargetCast’s first major acquisition since its opening its doors in 2002. The move was made to broaden the company’s digital abilities. Triumph360 will pack up Stamford, CT-based headquarters and will be based in New York to be integrated into TargetCast’s expanded digital marketing group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Following the acquisition’s completion, TargetCast co-founders Steve Farella (pictured) and Audrey Siegel will expand their current roles.

Farella adds the title of chairman to his CEO post, while Siegel becomes president and director of Client Services. Meanwhile, Triumph360 President Steve Minichini, will now serve as president for interactive services.

“The duality of media is really at its peak,” Farella told paidContent why it decided this deal was right after all these years. “Our goal is to leverage the growth we expect to see in digital in 2010—both in the size of internet audiences and as traditional media explore new venues like e-readers for print and Wi-Fi for radio—through early use, research and roll-outs.”
