This is the number one question I get when people talk about Jon Miller and Ross Levinsohn and their VC firm Velocity...now they are have cleared it up a bit with Richard Siklos of Fortune: “they insist Velocity is not just a parking spot until another big corporate job comes their way,” the story mentions. Miller was a potential member of Yahoo’s (NSDQ: YHOO) board but that, as we know, didn’t happen at the last second. Levinsohn has also been mentioned in relation to various other big media jobs and boards over the last year as well. For now, they are content with searching for online stars that their old employers will one day buy…the operative word being “for now”.
