More AOL Shifts: Entertainment Head Rich Leaving, StudioNow’s Mason To Head Content Platform
Another batch of changes at AOL (NYSE: AOL) as ex-Googler David Eun moves into his new role of president, AOL Media and Studios. Two are meant to buttress AOL’s ambitious content management plans: David Mason, the co-founder and CEO of recent acquisition StudioNow, as SVP-AOL Content Platform, reporting to Eun, and Jeff Reynar, AOL’s New York head of technology for engineering and products, as the engineering lead.

Meanwhile, the changing of the guard continues: AOL vet Mike Rich is leaving as SVP-Entertainment to “explore new challenges.” An AOL spokeswoman says the company is looking at internal and external candidates to fill the spot. Rich’s departure at the end of the month after nine years follows that of Bill Wilson, who left as president of AOL Media—making way for Eun.
