Digital streaming system developer Sonos is getting ready to close a $6 million second funding round, socalTECH reported. Existing backer BV Capital is leading the round, which is being supported by several other unidentified investors. The Santa Barbara-based company recently completed a deal with online radio provider Pandora to stream music to Sonos’ system. Excluding the upcoming funding, Sonos has raised a total of $30 million in previous financings, a spokesman said.
