New Fox Interactive Group Moves Into Yahoo Center In Santa Monica
We had heard rumors to this effect earlier in the year, and some gossip and speculation about whether Fox Interactive could get the rights to rename the Yahoo Center in Santa Monica, CA. Now we have confirmed that the new FIM (NYSE: NWS) business unit FIM Audience Network is housed in the Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) Media Group’s offices here in Santa Monica (a few blocks from our office). The new group headed by Adam Bain includes FIM’s ad technology (which came through SDC, also previously based in Santa Monica), ad operations and performance sales groups. This also means that some of the MySpace employees are back near the beach, where they started in the first place.

What was that talk about News Corp talking to Yahoo about combining MySpace with FIM? Well, this could work out nicely in terms of office space, if nothing else ...
