New York AG Subpoenas Comcast Over Net Neutrality

A day after getting grilled by Kevin Martin and the FCC, Comcast (NSDQ: CMCSA) has a new thorn in its side: New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. Right now, they’re just looking into the net neutrality issues, as a spokesperson for the office told AP: “We have requested information from the company via subpoena.” Comcast has responded, saying it will comply, though it noted that only about one half of one percent of its subscribers are in New York state. Of course, with recent New York AGs having established a reputation for going after high-profile issues, it’s hard to imagine that argument doing much to appease Cuomo.
