News Corp’s Buyout of Dow Jones Gets FTC Antitrust Approval

Dow Jones’ (NYSE: DJ) proposed acquisition by News Corp (NYSE: NWS) has passed one test: the Federal Trade Commission granted early termination of the Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust waiting period. This clears one hurdle before the deal closes…this keeps the deal closure on track for Q4, the company said. More here.
