Online Dining Guide Restaurantica Sold To Yellow Pages Group
Another digital acquisition by a yellow pages publisher. Canada’s Yellow Pages Group has bought up online dining guide Restaurantica, which features listings (and reviews) of restaurants across North America. Restaurantica boasts 400,000 listings and 200,000 user-generated reviews. The company is strongest in Canada but also has a significant presence in the U.S.

In a release, Yellow Pages Group says its 50,000 restaurant advertisers will now have the opportunity to “attract even more hungry consumers” via Restaurantica. Now if only one of the big directory publishers could afford to make a bid for Yelp ...
