Online Lead Generator Yodle Raises $12 Million Second Round
Online lead generator Yodle has raised a $12 million second round lead by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, along with previous backer Bessemer Venture Partners. The NYC-based company raised an initial round from Bessemer a year ago, which The Local Onliner says came to $3.5 million, for a total of $15.5 million. In addition to lead generation, Yodle says it offers a simple online ad solution for local businesses, such as electricians, lawyers and doctors. The company, which claims to have grown 400 percent in the last year, says it will use the funding to complete a national rollout. Release.
