Online b-to-b photo service LifePics has raised $1.98 million in a round of funding. The nine-year-old company offers a host of online imaging solutions, so that professional photographers and retail photo businesses can accept orders and offer other services to customers online. The company says it counts more than 20,000 retail stores as customers.

A spokesman says it’s a third round of funding and that existing investors participated in the round. “We raised this round of funding because our space (online photo) is hot and we want to be able to leverage many new opportunities coming our way. We are thankful that our existing investors agree,” the spokesman says.
