Online Video Shows Firm Revision3 Gets $8 Million Funding

Revision3, the online video shows firm founded by Digg co-founders Jay Adelson (CEO of Revision3) and Kevin Rose, has received $8 million in its second round of funding, reports VentureBeat. The round was led by previous backer Greylock, and several of the angel investors. Greylock is also an investor in Digg. The new investment follows the $1 million funding last year.

The site/company has about 10 shows in production, all ad-supported, and two of them are profitable, reports the VentureBeat story.
