Our Debut World Headquarters

[by Rafat] We finally moved into an office….our own. I have been working out of my house since I started this four and a half years ago (the houses moved from NYC to London to LA and the multiple places within each of those cities). Then as our websites and company expanded, all of our journalists and business people worked virtually, out of their houses. More recently, we had access to two-desks office space through our first COO Jeff Stern.
But now we finally have our own office space: it is a smallish, 2,000 sq. ft office space in Santa Monica, about six blocks up from the beach, close to my home and a couple of blocks from the Google building here. About four of us—including a new COO which I’ll give more details on tomorrow—are in there…so at least 25 percent of our company (total 16) now works out of an office. It feels good to have a base. Some more pics of the office here…
And yes, we did find the office partially through a posting on our own site…we got an excellent broker through someone who saw the notice and recommended Brian Luft at NAI Capital. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
