Pageonce Hires Yahoo Finance GM Schultz As COO

Steve Schultz, a five-year Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) veteran who had been the GM in charge of Yahoo Finance and Yahoo Real Estate in North America, is leaving to take the chief operating officer job at mobile startup Pageonce, which is behind several popular personal finance apps, including Personal Assistant, which lets users monitor bank accounts, cell phone minutes, and travel itineraries.
Under Schultz, Yahoo Finance launched its own smartphone app for the first time last fall. When we caught up with him in July, however, Schultz was overseeing the handing off of real estate listings on Yahoo Real Estate to Zillow.

Schultz is joining Pageonce nine months after the startup raised $6.5 million in its first round of funding and Pageonce says Schultz will lead the company “strategy, distribution partnerships, business development and help guide the company’s strategic development into consumer finance.” There are some more details in the company’s release.
We’ve asked Yahoo who is replacing Schultz and will update this post when we hear back. No replacement for Schultz has ben named yet.
