Panraven, a startup which offers an online “story-telling” service, has raised $2.725 million in funding, according to an SEC filing. The company lets users arrange photos, text, content, and video online and then share their creations using social networking tools; users can also order hardback copies of their compilations. The company has partnerships with various tour operators, including Holland America Line, and the funding announcement comes less than a month after another startup that lets users set up online travel scrapbooks, Everlater, raised its own round of funding.

Panraven had raised $1.75 million in a second round in June 2006. The startup lists backers including David Flaschen of Castanea Partners, Timothy Draper of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and Dave Andonian of Dace Ventures. We reached out earlier today to the company to get details on this funding but did not hear back. When we do, we’ll update this post.
