Wiki hosting site PBwiki has received $2 million in funding from Mohr Davidow Ventures, as well as an additional $100,000 from previous investors Ron Conway and Chris Yeh, Techcrunch reported. David Weekly, the company’s CEO confirmed the funding news on PBwiki’s blog. The company, which launched in June 2005 and claims to have helped create over 200,000 wikis since then, emphasizes how easy it is for users to start a wiki with its tools – PBwiki’s motto is “make a free wiki as easily as a peanut butter sandwich.”
The site recently added a new tool, a WYSIWYG editor. The recent upgrade also included the ability to add YouTube videos, Flickr photostreams, stock charts and chat functionality for wikis.  As for PBwiki’s other initiatives, sometime within the next few weeks, the company’s CEO plans to make an announcement regarding interoperability with other wiki providers.
Last November, PBwiki raised $350,000 in angel money, from Seraph (an angel group), Yeh and Conway.
