Impact Radius, a company that promises to tie together cross-platform performance ad programs, has raised a $6 million first round funding led by Redpoint Ventures. The Santa Barbara company is currently in beta in the U.S. and UK. Impact Radius will use the proceeds to support marketing efforts aimed at advertisers, media companies and agencies. The company makes a point to emphasize the “openness” of its system, which is designed to let marketers, publishers and agencies find each other through a public centralized directory. Impact Radius’ platform also offers a range of self-service campaign tools, such as tracking, distribution and monitoring to ensure the ad placements were distributed to their intended spots.
