Car repair info site RepairPal has raised $4 million in a first round of funding led by Tugboat Ventures. The two-year-old site lets users look up how much a specific car repair should cost where they live; there’s also a directory of auto shops and a way for visitors to share comments on different models. Last month, the company announced a deal with AOL (NYSE: AOL) to get its estimates featured on AOL Autos. Traffic to RepairPal has jumped over the last year, reaching 400,000 unique visitors last month, according to Compete figures. More in the release.
