IAB recently gave a rosy update on the online advertising market for 2010 and beyond. Among the topline numbers, in Q409, the industry was back to hitting another quarterly record with $6.3 billion spent. In light of that, Terence Kawaja, Managing Director of GCA Savvian Advisors, gave a presentation on the need to rethink the market opportunity in the online ad space. Some of the key themes that he hit upon:

—Removing impediments to growth of the digital sector
—the crowded ad tech landscape and coming consolidation
—convergence in the purchase funnel
—digital video’s TV ad budget opportunity, and
—solving for attribution

We have embedded his audio/slide presentation below.
