Browser Tool Cooliris Raises $1 Million For First Round Funding
Cooliris, a Menlo Park, CA-based company that markets browser applications that offer different ways to view online media, has secured around $1 million of a $3.05 million first round from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, PEHub reported. Cooliris has two browser plug-ins, Previews, which lets users see what a page looks like before actually loading it (the annoying pop-up similar to what Snap’s SnapShots does), and the video, photo-slideshow player PicLens.
