Scrapblog Picks Up $4 Million Second Round

Online scrapbooking site Scrapblog has closed a $4 million second round of funding. Disney’s Steamboat Ventures and Longworth Ventures led the round; they funded the company’s first round in early 2007 as well. The Miami-based company has raised $7.5 million since its inception in 2006, according to TechCrunch, which we confirmed.

Scrapblog lets users pull in content from multiple third parties: social media profiles, Photobucket images, and Blogger posts, among others. The service is free, but users can pay to print their creations or send them as gifts; the company recently added a virtual marketplace where users can buy professional templates, images and other content. Last year Scrapblog partnered with ABC.com, to let users craft digital scrapbooks around shows like Ugly Betty, and Carnival Cruise Lines for a cruise-themed promotion.
