Search Marketer PM Digital Buys Optimizer SpinShark

Online marketing shop PM Digital has bought search optimizer SpinShark. Terms were not disclosed. Despite all the attention of Google (NSDQ: GOOG) expansion into the display marketplace, search remains the more dominant category and is expected to remain that way for at least the time being. Still, Google’s shadow over search doesn’t extend to all quarters. Hoping to pick up more business as marketers turn to various ways to get in front of users, the merger of these two companies is designed to broaden both PM Digital’s and SpinShark’s existing optimization technologies.
