TheFind.com, a shopping meta-search site backed by Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, has bought fashion shopping/search website Glimpse.com. Terms were not disclosed. TheFind.com crawls about 500K online stores, it says. It has raised $23 million in two rounds. More in the release.
Some back history: Glimpse.com was started as Cairo.com in October 2004, and had as much as $10 million in funding from Greylock and Redpoint Ventures, but closed down i April last year, to re-emerge against as Glimpse.
