Social News Site Mixx Adds $2 Million From Intersouth
McLean, VA-based Mixx, a Digg-like social news site, has raised an additional $2 million from past investor Intersouth Partners. In addition to its first raise last October, the company has taken a strategic investment from the LA Times. The funding coincides with the recent launch of several new features, including Mixx Mail, Mixx message boards and Mixx Related Assets, which allows users to make clusters of related content.
