Some Kind Of Yahoo Deal Getting Closer; Microsoft Still Wants The Whole Thing: Report

According to the report, Yahoo is still in talks with Google (NSDQ: GOOG) and Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) on various deals, and though Ballmer said just last night that it had not rebid for Yahoo, an out-and-out sale is still possible. However, if Microsoft is only interested in buying the search part, as has been strongly hinted, then Yahoo might do its Google search deal, which it threatens to do about once per week.

I think Microsoft should invest their money on its own platform and make it better to get more searches, instead of paying money for Yahoo.
