Stealth analytics startup Space Pencil has raised $2.8 million in a round of funding, according to an SEC filing. We’ve reached out to CEO Hiten Shah and will update if we hear back with more details. Founder Hiten Shah says the company is “still working on the product and not quite ready to share additional details.” The company also raised $1 million in an earlier round, according to a separate filing, which likely corresponds to an $800,000 round from True Ventures and SoftTech VC that was reported last summer. Shah also started three other companies: Visual web metrics firm Crazy Egg, KISSmetrics, and online marketer ACS.
